Rolf Endres is a DSJ alum — Matric 1999, Abitur 2000 — now in his third year on the school's board and serving as its chair after his predecessor stepped down. Three of his children attend DSJ; professionally he is an entrepreneur and management consultant, which is why he sat for years on the development committee. He studied and worked in Germany before returning to Johannesburg, partly to give his children the same German–South African mix he grew up with.
