Nick Krichevsky came to DSJ about eighteen months ago as a biology teacher and in August stepped into the newly created role of head of digitalisation — a field he has been hooked on since getting his first Nintendo at age six. At his previous school he helped build a makerspace and ran a hackathon for 1,400 students. For all his enthusiasm about AI, Teams and VR, he is just as keen, as a former Boy Scout, on the analogue side of learning — relationships, nature, no screens.
