Florian Hindelang is leaving DSJ after eight years as upper school coordinator, having shepherded class after class through the simultaneous German Abitur and South African Matric — to him the best job in the school. He arrived from Bavaria, where he had been a deputy head, with his wife and three children, and starts in January in the leadership team of a Gymnasium in Kempten. He played three times with his band at the school bazaar, and the things he is taking back to Germany are plastic mugs and stickers from exactly that event.
