School needs to become much more analogue and much more digital at the same time.
Expert on digital learning methods and modern education.
Dr. Florian Sochatzy heads the Institut für Digitales Lernen and Digitale Lernwelten GmbH; for fifteen years his team has been building digital learning tools, from multimedia history textbooks to the interactive German textbook "Netdeutsch". His PhD was on a multimedia schoolbook he had helped create — the first commission for it came by chance from East Belgium, while he was co-writing curricula. He argues schools need to become both far more digital and far more analogue at the same time, and that every learner should have decent kit — not a flea-market Android next to a MacBook Pro.
